This castle was built at the end of the XVIII th century, and was for a long time the property of an old Bordeaux family, allied to the “Montaigne” family, and was rebuilt in part by François de Belcier, a revolutionary guillotined in 1794. The vineyard is 52 hectares planted on clay-limestone soil and silty clay. The main grape is Merlot, then Cabernet Sauvignon and a little Malbec.
