Description
The “Domaine de Fabrègues” has been around for hundreds of years. Following archaeological excavations, an amphora oven was found, which at that time, made the amphora that our ancestors filled with wines for the Middle East and Asia.
For years, the vines were harvested for the cooperative cellar of the village. Carine Pichot (owner), convinced of the value of the Languedoc and the potential of the Estate, decided to work the vines, and to vinify the wines in her own domaine, in order to create the vintages that we present to you, between classicism and surprise !!
“Domaine de Fabrègues” reigns in the heart of 40 hectares of vines, planted in the heart of the Languedoc appellation, the “Terrasses de Pèzenas”, on the hillsides of the “Cévennes” mountains and the “Montagne Noire”. The soils are clay-limestone, gravelly red clay or rolled pebbles. The age of the vines can reach 75 years as for Carignan.
