This castle was built at the end of the XVIIIth century, and was for a long time the property of an old Bordeaux family, allied to the Montaigne family, and was rebuilt in part by François de Belcier, a revolutionary guillotined in 1794.
The vineyard is 52 hectares planted on a clay-limestone soil and clay loam. The main grape is Merlot, then Cabernet Sauvignon and a little Malbec.
