Description
Located in Saint-Just-sur-Dive, 10 km south of Saumur in the appellation of Saumur Champigny, the Domaine Saint Just was created in 1996 by Yves Lambert with the sole objective of producing great quality wines.
Arnaud Lambert (the son) returns to the Domaine in 2005 to bring even more precision to the cultivation of vines and to the winemaking process. The property is certified organic farming since 2012. In 2009, Mr. Le Comte de Colbert, owner of Château de Brézé in Saumur asked Arnault Lambert to come and take care of his prestigious vineyard.
It is with his son, Arnaud, that he now cultivates 40 hectares of organic vines. Spread over the towns of Saint-Just sur Dive and Saint Cyr en Bourg, the vines are planted on diverse soils of sandstone, clay and limestone. Cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, Cabernet Franc is used to make red wines while Chenin Blanc produces white wines.
