Description
Located on a high mound of the hillsides of Langoiran, this Chartreuse bordelaise was built in the second half of the 18th century by the family of the same name; 30 hectares of vines stretch around the property on very old foundations. Overlooking the medieval 13th century fortress of Langoiran, a magnificent panorama unfolds from the Sauternes to the foothills of Bordeaux following the meanders of the Garonne.
The vinification is particularly careful, thanks to the great expertise of their oenologist Edouard de Monturet, with prolonged macerations. The aging is done entirely in oak barrels, with a significant proportion of new wood. The entire vineyard is conducted in sustainable agriculture and certified “High Environmental Value”.
