Description

It is in 1998 that the Raguenot family (also owner of Château des Tourtes), will acquire the Château Haut Beyzac vineyard in the Haut-Médoc appellation. With their skills, their motivation and especially their passion for the world of wine, they strive to gain a strong reputation at the international level through monitoring, regularity in work and impeccable quality. This is how they acquired a recognition that since the creation of Vignobles Raguenot is never denied.

They have more than 100 medals in 25 years, and many press articles that crown each year, their commitment to the profession of winemaker.

In the Haut-Médoc appellation, Château Haut Beyzac is located on 26 hectares of the commune of Vertheuil. Rich in uncommon geology with a clay-limestone soil, the vineyard is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, the favorite grape of this terroir, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Three very distinct “cuvées” are imagined and elaborated in models of vinification, wine farming and very different assembly. We then discover three wines all in subtlety, freshness and complexity, and we offer two of these three wines that have caught our attention.
