Description
The origin of the Château’s name comes from two parcels of vines, one hillside facing south “Gazin”, and another hillside facing the Gironde estuary “Mondésir”. The beauty of these hillsides and the very high quality of these soils have persuaded the owners to take over in 1990 this property located in Plassac.
For 25 years, they have worked with the constant concern to elaborate wines that reflect this terroir as much as possible. The vineyard is entirely organic. The vines are plowed and receive no chemicals, pesticides or insecticides. It’s also important to note that a low dosage of sulphites is used during wine aging.
These cultural choices help respect the environment and offer healthy wines to enjoy.
