Description
The Château des Jacobins estate is part of the group “Vignobles Jean-Marie Bouldy”. The vines with an average age of 35 years, cover an area of almost 1 hectare on the Pomerol appellation. The grape variety consists of MERLOT and CABERNET FRANC. The estate benefits from an oceanic climate. The terroir is essentially composed in more or less large and scattered quantities, of sand and clay. The vineyards of the estate are organically grown.
The Château des Jacobins has opted for the traditional method for the vinification of the grapes. To do this, thermo-regulated stainless-steel vats but also thermo-regulated concrete vats are used according to the cuvées. The aging is done in oak barrels of Allier.
