Description
Initially, when Dominique BESSINEAU buys Château Côte Montpezat, it only represents 18 hectares of vines in the municipality of Belvès de Castillon. He then decided to complete these magnificent soils exposed south coast by 9 hectares located on the great terroir that is the limestone plateau of St Genès de Castillon.
The superficy of the vineyard is currently 30 hectares. It creates an assembly of the best soils of the appellation. The estate is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vinifications are made in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, from 18 to 22 days at 27°/28° according to the characteristics of the vintage.
Bottling is done at the Château after 14 months of breeding.
